Since 2023, NC Chapter have been conducting "the Triangle", an annual event hosted by KSEA NC Chapter. KSEA NC Chapter Symposium
In 2026, the KSEA North Carolina Chapter proudly launched a new annual event: the KSEA NC Chapter Symposium.
This symposium is designed to provide a dynamic platform for networking, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing across a wide range of fields — not only in science and engineering, but also in the social sciences and humanities. The event serves KSEA NC Chapter members as well as Korean-American professionals, scholars, and students throughout North Carolina.
This inaugural gathering marks the beginning of a long-term effort to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement among students, academics, and professionals in the region.

The Industry Visit
The Industry Visit, a recurring event, stands as a pivotal program within our chapter. Crafted with the purpose of fostering connections between local industries and our members, this initiative specifically targets the vibrant setting of the Triangle Research Park (RTP). Situated within the triangular expanse of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, RTP holds the distinction of being one of the largest and longest-established research parks in the United States. Renowned for its clustering of high-tech enterprises and research institutions, RTP provides an ideal backdrop for our members to engage with the thriving industries in the region.

National Math and Science Competition
National Math and Science Competition
Mathematics and Science are very important in our rapidly changing technological and scientific age. Proficiency in math and science is the gateway to various careers. The Korean-American Scientists & Engineers Association (KSEA) offers the National Mathematics & Science Competition (NMSC) to challenge and inspire students. The KSEA NMSC is also dedicated to elevating the mathematical abilities, talents, and scientific innovation of all students. The KSEA NMSC is committed to fostering the mathematical and scientific capabilities of all students.

KSEA NC Chapter Special Events
Fundraising Event
KSEA NC chapter hosted the NC Chapter Faculty Member Networking Dinner. On December 1, 2023, we hoted the event as the Faculty Network Dinner Event into a Fundraising Gala Dinner Night as a part of our fundraising campaign. Approximately 45 members and inviters attended the event Various programs, including, String Ensemble concert, Live Auction, 3 minutes Lightning Talk and more program, were employed and had a great time. Also, we successfully raised a fulfill amount of donation on the evening.
